Curious, warm, and genuinely
invested in your progress.

I'm Linnea. I'm a therapist, a mindfulness facilitator, and someone who always has a stack of books going at once.

My curiosity about people and psychology is the thing that drove me into this field, and it's the same thing that keeps me engaged after all these years. I genuinely find humans fascinating: the way we develop, the patterns we carry, the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and what we're capable of.

I bring that curiosity into every session. I'm not the kind of therapist who just sits quietly and nods. I'm engaged, I ask questions, and I'll gently push back when I think it's useful. I also laugh a lot, because therapy doesn't have to be grim to be meaningful.

Self-compassion as the foundation.

I work with people who are thoughtful and self-aware, people who've often spent a lot of time trying to figure themselves out and are ready to go a little deeper with some support.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in self-compassion. I've found that most of my clients are much kinder to everyone around them than they are to themselves, and a lot of the work we do together is about gently shifting that.

As someone who has done my own work around perfectionism, I understand firsthand the particular exhaustion of holding yourself to an impossible standard. It's not just intellectual understanding. I know what it feels like from the inside, and I bring that into the room.

I specialize in anxiety, trauma, perfectionism and people-pleasing, and counseling for healthcare professionals, areas that often intersect more than people expect.

“If you want someone who will walk alongside you, be genuinely invested in where you’re going, push gently when it’s needed, and laugh along the way — you’re in the right place.”

I care about the people I work with, and I think that comes through. This is a space where you can be honest about what's actually going on, without worrying about how it sounds. And I'll be honest with you too, staying curious, engaged, and willing to ask the questions that matter.

Therapy with me tends to be warm, honest, and occasionally funny. It feels more like a conversation than anything else.

I do this because
I believe it actually works.

I came to this work because I was genuinely curious about the mind: about why people do what they do, and how change actually happens. That curiosity turned into a career, and the career turned into a deep conviction that therapy, done well, can fundamentally shift how someone moves through their life.

I've watched people who spent years convinced they were just "anxious by nature" or "too sensitive" or "someone who can't slow down or everything will fall apart" start to experience their lives differently. Not because they became someone new, but because they finally understood themselves well enough to relate to themselves with a little more kindness.

That's what keeps me invested in this work after all these years.

Trained for the
work I do with you.

I hold a Masters in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College, a background that brings a creative, expansive lens to the therapeutic process. I'm an EMDR-trained therapist through an EMDRIA-approved program, and a trained teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion.

I'm also a trained teacher for the Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities (SCHC) program, work I find particularly meaningful given how much the healthcare professionals I work with have given to everyone else and how rarely they receive that same care in return.

I also facilitate Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a practice I came to through years of mentorship and deep personal study. That foundation shows up in how I teach it.

I continue to pursue learning because I believe it's part of doing this work well. There's always more to understand, and honestly, that's part of what I love about it.

What working together
actually looks like.

Sessions are a real conversation. There's no worksheet to fill out, no homework you'll feel guilty about not finishing. Just dedicated time and space that's entirely yours.

We start where you are. I don't have an agenda for what you should work on or how fast you should get there. The pace is yours, and the work follows what feels most alive and relevant to you.

Over time, most people find that they start to understand themselves more clearly: why they do what they do, what's been driving the patterns they're tired of, and what it might feel like to relate to themselves differently.

When you’re ready
to begin.
