Who I work with
You don't have to have it
all figured out to reach out.
Most people who reach out aren't sure exactly what to call what they're experiencing. They just know they're overwhelmed, or stuck, or that something has been off for longer than they'd like to admit.
Maybe their mind won't quiet down. Maybe they keep finding themselves stuck in the same patterns no matter how hard they try to change. Maybe they've built a full life and still can't seem to feel at ease in it.
Whatever it is, they've usually been managing it alone for a long time.
Whatever brings you here, therapy is a space to begin to understand what's going on beneath the surface and find a way through it that actually feels like relief.
Individual therapy in Columbus & Worthington, Ohio
My clients tend to be thoughtful, responsible adults, often working in high-responsibility roles like physicians or healthcare professionals, who are harder on themselves than they are on anyone else. They've often tried to manage on their own for a long time. They're just tired of feeling the way they do, and ready to try something different.
If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Learn moreMy approach
Thoughtful, collaborative,
and grounded in self-compassion.
Therapy is a space to start understanding yourself more clearly, and to begin relating to yourself with a little more of the kindness you give to everyone else.
My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in self-compassion. I draw on evidence-based methods including Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness-based practice — tailored to what feels most useful for you.
Sessions are collaborative. We go at your pace, follow what feels most relevant, and never push toward material before you're ready. The work is steady and thoughtful, not rushed.
I see anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, and people-pleasing as deeply connected. They often share the same roots: early experiences that shaped how safe the world felt, what you had to do to be accepted, how much of yourself you learned to hide.
Because of that, therapy here rarely stays in one lane. We work with the whole picture: the patterns, the history, the way it all shows up in your body, your relationships, and your daily life.
I have particular experience working with healthcare professionals, perfectionists and people-pleasers, and people navigating the effects of complex or relational trauma. These groups often overlap more than people expect.
Sessions are available in person in Worthington, Ohio, or via telehealth anywhere in Ohio.
I also offer mindfulness and self-compassion courses including Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities (SCHC), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for those interested in a group-based approach.
